I have to agree with KB's review. Once I let my membership lapse, I (a man in my 50s) started getting a HUGE number of emails from attractive women in their 20s and 30s. I'm of the firm belief that these are "sock puppets" - not real. Worse, I suspect that the site is using these women's profiles WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION to try to lure me in.
So, I must wonder: are they using MY profile and photos? Or are they using YOUR profile and photos?
Unethical. And it should be illegal. Good luck, but be careful.

Well, what can I say that is good?? Sadly, not a lot. When you sign up for a free profile, you receive so many emails from so many gorgeous girls from all over the world. But read the headings to the emails and there will be a clue - they look like they were generated by a 1970s robot!! Worse still, when you have paid the money, they all vanish into the mist. What a complete and utter con, it is hard to believe that a company can operate such a complete scam and on a global basis. I strongly suspect that there is a team employed to snare unsuspecting fools (mainly men) to join and pay up. There are many sites playing similar tricks and I think it is time to uncover them for what they are. Do not pay, do not join, go and do something else instead. There are some genuine sites, but buyer beware. They are also expert at continuing to take money from your credit card in the future. Buyer beware!!

I received many more emails from attractive women after I *left* the site than when I was a member. What's more, I noticed a couple of the emails to me had titles like "Join!" Hmm, I wonder how a real user would know I wasn't a paying member? And do real people write emails with titles like "Join"?
100 percent of my emails were from attractive
women. 80 percent or so were in their 20s, though I'm in my 40s. I noticed
that some of these women had profiles that were
word-for-word identical -- but contained specific
requirements for a mate such as sense of humor,
interest in a long term relationship, and so on.
When I was a member, I must admit I found the site was pretty good -- there are some real people on it looking for someone. The interface is quite good. Thus the two stars instead of one.
But way too many dating sites seem okay with lying to you -- putting up fake profiles in order to scam you into joining, or remaining a member. Personally, I believe this is fraud, and should be against the law. People running sites that do this should be prosecuted. Investigative journalists should go after dating sites.

My story is really funny when I joined the site, the next week I met a guy and wrote him. But his answer was awfully rude…but…in a week we started our dating lol
